Guided climbing tours and via ferratas on the Falzarego Pass
Plaisier climbing on the best rock with a mountain guide
The Falzarego and Valparola passes are known for a wide range of enjoyable tours in the best rock. Easy to reach from Val Badia, Cortina or Alleghe. Climbing tours in the third, fourth and fifth grades: there are many tours here, especially for beginners and advanced climbers. The rock is always rock solid.
Climbing on the Falzarego Pass for beginners
There is a huge selection of beginner tours here, which are very exposed and spectacular despite their low difficulty. Be it the Hexenstein south edge or the mountain guide route on the small Falzarego tower: with a mountain guide, every beginner or climbing novice can climb something exciting here.
Hexenstein south edge
Very exposed climbing along a steep ridge. Mostly fourth grade and easier. Great views of Pelmo, Civetta and Marmolada. The descent is via an easy ferrata/hiking path with interesting war positions from the First World War!

Small Falzarego tower Comici-Route or Guides-Route
The Small Falzarego Tower offers some great climbing tours in the fourth grade. You can easily switch between different routes and choose between slightly harder or easier terrain. The summit is spectacular and a great abseil awaits us on the descent.

Small Lagazuoi - Via del Buco
„Via del Buco“ is a beautiful Falzarego classic on the best rock. The tour is a little longer, but mostly on the fourth grade.

CINQUE TORRI WITH MOUNTAIN GUIDE
The „Cinque Torri“ are the ideal playground for newcomers to alpine climbing or for alpine climbing courses with a mountain guide. Access is by chairlift. This starts on the road between the Falzarego Pass and Cortina d'Ampezzo. There is a large selection of four to five Pitche -Climbs that lead to the top of spectacular, free-standing towers.
Climbing on the Cinque Torri is therefore ideal for all those who want to undertake their first multi-pitch tour with a mountain guide. I also offer alpine climbing courses for beginners in this discipline. Details on request.

„Drago“ route Lagazuoi North
Claude Barbier's „Via del Drago“ is an alpine masterpiece and a true classic. The rock is of the best quality, the crux of the climb is a traverse: the fifth grade (5.9) should be fully mastered here.
Access to the route is from the Falzarego Pass by cable car and then approx. 45 minutes on foot. The climb is challenging for the official grade and should not be underestimated. The ambience and the view are fantastic.

Lacedelli Route Cima Scotoni
In the 50s and 60s, the Lacedelli on the Cima Scotoni was considered one of the most difficult climbing-routes in the Dolomites. The climb is also famous for the crawling traverse on the seventh pitch. In my opinion, it is still the most elegant line on this wall.
The tour is accessed from Armentarola in Val Badia. Strictly speaking, this tour is not actually on the Falzarego Pass. The climbing is persistently difficult in the sixth grade, the key pitch is steep and pumpy: free climbing 7a, but also technically possible thanks to the many pitons.
