EXPERIENCE THE DOLOMITES IN WINTER WITH A MOUNTAIN GUIDE

SNOW, ICE AND ROCK

It no longer snows in the Dolomites like it did 30 years ago, that's a fact. But with a little creativity, you can still go mountaineering in the Dolomites without snow and skis.

I offer guided iceclimbing (icefalls) in the Dolomites, ice climbing courses for beginners but also classic mountaineering in winter. In particularly snow-poor winters, many normal Dolomite routes or via ferratas can be tackled without any problems. The tours have a touch of alpine character and offer a greater challenge than in summer. On classic via ferratas or normal routes that are overcrowded in summer, we are on our own in winter.

Winter mountaineering Dolomites

In recent years, we have often had the situation that there was hardly any snow for ski tours in the Dolomites in December and January. In addition, it is often unusually warm: I offer you classic summer tours, normal routes or via ferratas. But in winter. Sometimes overcrowded tours in summer become real adventures in winter. Details on request and depending on the conditions.
